Automated New Member Welcome & Member Retention Campaigns

Did you know most new association members decide if they will renew within the first three months of joining? CSI adds to your effort by using mail and email to welcome new members throughout their first year and connect them to the value of CSI.

When it comes to renewal and retention, member outreach includes seven emails and two phone calls, beginning 75 days before a member’s expiration date. The value of local chapter connections is an essential element of these messages, and your local efforts greatly increase the success of membership renewal campaigns.

Administrative Support

CSI makes it easy to collect dues by doing it for you and sending those to you each month. You also receive a dues reconciliation report each month so you can easily track the amount of member dues collected. CSI also provides a number of other resources to assist with chapter and region administration.

Annual Check-In

The Annual Check-In Report is a health checkpoint of the chapter’s or region’s governance and business practices and allows CSI National to confirm that the chapter or region is in good standing with the elements of the Affiliation Agreement.

If the chapter or region is unable to meet one or more of the obligations on the report, the Chapter, Region, and National will work collaboratively to create a plan so that the chapter or region can work towards compliance with the Affiliation Agreement.

Sample Bylaws and Primer

Bylaws are essential and legally required for every Chapter or Region—or any non-profit—to have in place. These documents, along with the Articles of Incorporation, are the main governance documents for the organization. It is important that the Bylaws are consistent with applicable local, state, and federal laws because they provide rules that serve to meet the legal requirements of the state in which the Chapter or Region is incorporated.
