Although now retired from architectural product representation, Alana still thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to chat with design professionals and contractors about decorative glass, skylights, structural glass walls, and glass railing systems building products. But, now Alana's primary focus is to provide consultation and mentorship to women in fields related to construction and manufacturing. Her passion is being an advisor or "coach" to women in these male dominated industries. With over 40 years experience working in the construction industry, it's very rewarding for her to help others understand these businesses and offer advice when needed.
Being a member of the Construction Specifications Institute and Construction Specifications Canada gives wonderful networking opportunities to Alana, where she continues her learning and education about construction products, practices and methods.
