Equally as important as each project’s Drawings, each project’s Specifications establish parameters for both the materials and systems which go into each project as well as how those materials and systems are to be presented to the design professional, what those materials and systems are to consist of, and how those materials and systems are to be installed. Kristina Abrams, AIA, LEED AP, CDT - a Registered Architect with over 18 years of experience working with design teams across the US on projects serving public and private clients – will provide an overview of how architects and designers can establish project terminology early in the design process, strengthening communicated design intent during design to achieve a higher quality contract document deliverable.
