What Are You ‘Thankful for” this Holiday Season?

By Peter Kray posted 11-23-2022 11:53 AM

Everyone at CSI would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving this holiday season, good health, and safe travels if you are visiting friends and family. We are grateful for each member of this outstanding professional community and the way you support each other in every endeavor, collectively working to continue to create new opportunities in the years to come.

We would love to share the gratitude you are feeling this year, both personally and professionally, and ask what are you most “thankful for” this Thanksgiving and why? As a bonus question, from turkey to cranberry sauce to mashed potatoes, what's your favorite Thanksgiving dish?

We have much to be grateful for. We are healthy, we have “enough” of what we need and most of what we might want, too. We have caring and amazing friends in our various communities, including this one! And as for a special Thanksgiving food, I think I’d have to say, “good gravy!”

Here in Buffalo, we are thankful for the six feet of snow we received (amongst many other things naturally). We will be even more thankful when Lake Erie freezes :)

I am thankful for everything Lynn mentioned but especially family, friends, and good health. My favorite dish is my wife’s homemade from fresh cranberry sauce. Of course, all the baked goods constantly compete for “runner-up.” Wishing good health, safe travels, and wonderful memories to all.

I’m grateful for my amazingly loving and supportive family; a super challenging, brain-employing job with a tremendous company; and my brother - who left his own career to care for our parents full-time this year. To all the caregivers out there, you are truly incredible.

For me, stuffing is the highlight of the Thanksgiving meal!

I am thankful for the family and friends who have welcomed me to California these past 18 months. It’s a long way from Ohio and moving during a pandemic was not the best situation, but the roofing industry, along with my new employer, has been a supportive, extended family. I am also grateful to CSI for all they do to promote learning, growth, and excellence in the construction industry. When you smile, it's an expression of your gratitude...What makes you smile?

Savory stuffing with a little gravy makes the meal!
 Happy Thanksgiving to all!
