Be part of the team providing high-level, strategic insights for CSI's certifications! The CSI Certification Committee oversees and governs the overarching content, the body of knowledge domains and the item bank for four exams: Construction Documents Technologist (CDT®); Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA®); Certified Construction Specifier (CCS®) and Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPRTM).
Deliverable #1: Evaluate, review and maintain the schedule for certification program quality to achieve and maintain a ‘gold standard’.
Deliverable #2: Review the most recent Body of Knowledge Assessment (BoKA), Job Analysis (JA) research, and credential needs assessment survey data as available. Recommend updates or revisions every 3-5 years.
Deliverable #3: Recommend policies and practices to support examinees' success at taking and passing the CSI certification exams.
- Review confidential exam results and psychometric exam item analysis report provided by outside contractor that evaluated item performance.
ii. Review confidential passing score analysis conducted by an outside contractor every 2-3 years.
Deliverable #4: Oversee the Call for Volunteers timeline annually, as needed, for short-term assignments to include: item writers, item and form reviews, standard score setting, job analysis research, etc.
A. Composition: The Committee is composed of 8-10 CSI members. One public member may also be invited to add external expertise.

All should have and maintain their relevant CSI credentials.

Certification Committee members may not hold other roles related to exam content development or instruction (including exam prep course or study group facilitation), chapter/region leadership position directly related to certification, or CSI Board of Directors during term of service.
