Make an impact on the future of credentialing for Product Representatives by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)!


Product representatives, your professional expertise is needed to shape the future of the CCPR certification (Certified Construction Product Representative).  This research ensures that the CCPR certification program is relevant to the workforce and supports careers of representatives for building product manufacturers. For this work to be successful, we need input from professionals with a variety of years of experience, specialty areas, geographic dispersion, and business types.


Working Group Deliverables:

Deliverable #1: Contribute your professional expertise to the future of CSI credentialing.
Deliverable #2: Assist CSI with guided research by designing an important job task analysis.
Deliverable #3: Help CSI understand the workforce competencies required for credentialed Product Representatives.

 

You may be asked to assist during one or more of the following phases:

  • Job Analysis meetings in July and October 2020
  • Item Reclassification, Writing and Review in late October through early December 2020
  • Form Assembly and Review in late December 2020 through late April

*** Enjoy collaborating with peers while earning Learning Units (up to 2 per year) toward your CSI recertification for your volunteer service!***

Who should apply?

+ CCPR credential holders AND non-CCPR holders
+ Product Representatives (actively working)


Restrictions:
- Those who plan to teach CCPR exam prep courses from 2021 - 2024 may assist with Phase 1 - Job Analysis only.
- Those who plan to sit for the CCPR exam in 2021 - 2024 may assist with Phase 1 - Job Analysis only.


Location: 
All meetings will be conducted via online meetings (virtual video and phone, no travel or out of office requirements).
