Description:

Make an impact on future construction documents technologists!

If you have between one and twenty + years of experience in project delivery, your professional expertise is needed to shape the future of the CDT certification (Construction Documents Technology).

Bring your work experience to help CSI design a job task analysis – which looks at typical daily roles and responsibilities that are most important for a CDT holder. This research ensures that the CDT certification program is relevant to the workforce and supports careers in project delivery.

Who should apply?

CSI members preferred; those who plan to seek the CDT in the future; those who hold the CDT. Anyone who is actively working full-time and is involved in the day-to-day development and editing of construction documents in project delivery (independent consultant or as part of a design, consulting, or manufacturing company)For this work to be successful, we need input from professionals with a variety of years of experience, specialty areas, geographic dispersion, types of facilities / companies and practice locations / settings.

If you have a CDT certification or if you are planning on seeking the CDT in the future, your input is needed.

Working Group Deliverables:

Deliverable #1: Contribute your professional expertise to the future of CSI credentialing.

Deliverable #2: Assist CSI with guided research by designing an important job task analysis.
