Are you a Specifier who enjoys writing and are looking for an outlet to use your talent?
As part of a Practice Guide author team, you would work with other volunteers to craft and update content for the Construction Specifications Practice Guide (CSPG) 2nd edition.
This project includes the following deliverables:
#1: Author and update content presented by CSPG 1st edition.
#2: Develop and update ancillary educational materials that can be used for preparation and study by those preparing for the Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) examination.
#3: Contribute using examples from your or colleagues’ work experience that will help illustrate professional practice outlined by the CSPG.
Qualifications Needed for Opportunity: Working familiarity and expertise with authoring and interpreting construction specifications content, and construction and contract documents. Good writing style, ability to work in a group in a collegial fashion.
Years of Experience: 1-3 years’ experience minimum; preference given to CSI certification holders, especially Certified Construction Specifiers (CCS)
