I am an Architectural Engineer with an Electrical emphasis. In my current position, I lead a growing team of MEP Engineers for a full-service E/A firm in Kansas.
I provide electrical design for new construction and renovation of municipal, commercial, educational, institutional, and industrial projects. I design various systems including building and site power distribution (medium and low voltage), emergency and standby power generation and distribution, building and site lighting design, life safety systems, telecommunications systems, public address, intercom, and audio/visual systems, nurse call and code blue systems, and plant control/SCADA systems.
For CSI, I have served as Chapter President, Region Director, and now Secretary for the Flint Hills Chapter and as Region Treasurer, President-Elect, President, and Immediate Past President for the North Central Region. I am serving a three-year term on the Institute Board as a Director At Large from July 2021 - June 2024.
I am also active in the American Council of Engineering Companies of Kansas, and was a part of planning the annual Kan-Struct vertical construction conference from its inception in 2015 until 2019.
