I believe continuous learning, working well with people and having a good time are the secret to success. Working well with people and having a good time have come naturally to me. Continuous learning has been what I have always had to push myself on and will continue throughout my life.
I own a manufacturers rep company that allows me to use my construction background, manufacturing background and b2b marketing/advertising experience to deliver sales and marketing at a local level.
I started my career in the construction industry with ITW (Illinois Tool Works) where I build a strong foundation of manufacturing and distribution. I landed an internship with ITW Buildex and then continued my career working in product marketing for ITW Paslode. I worked closely with engineering, sales, distributors and manufacturing plants.
I then took on a new challenge by moving into the advertising industry working on predominantly b2b and CRM accounts that included all media channels including digital, mobile, social, email, direct mail, retail, television, print and radio. Over the years I worked with clients/brands across a variety of industries & categories: PACCAR (Peterbilt & Kenworth), SC Johnson, Discover, Chicago Tribune, Shamrock Farms Dairy, Tresemme, American Home Shield, Jack Daniel’s, Qwest Communication, Web Wise Kids and Brinks Home Security.
