Paul Simonsen is a registered architect who has more than 45 years experience in technical architectural practice. Experience includes architectural discipline leadership and director of specifications in large A/E firms as well as more than 26 years as an independent architectural specifications consultant. Paul has vast experiences working in and with large firms that have multiple locations, varied project types, and multiple disciplines. Paul is dedicated to performing quality service in a timely manner. Experiences include creating a master guide specification system for two large firms, project specifications on hundreds of projects for large, small, and medium sized firms as well as performing technical and coordination peer reviews on documents before they were released for construction. Paul is a Fellow and a Distinguished Member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and is a member of Specification Consultants in Independent Practice. Paul has participated at national levels of CSI for more than 34 years on technical and certification committees. He is the primary author of the CSI Construction Contract Administration Practice Guide (CAPG). Paul has recently chaired the CSI Building Technology Education Program Task Team.
