The Akron-Canton Chapter of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) is offering one (1) one-year $1,060.00 scholarship ($1,000.00 for tuition/$60.00 is to cover the cost of joining CSI national and the local chapter) for a college student who is presently (2022-2023) enrolled in an accredited college or university serving the construction industry in the northeast Ohio area, and desires to pursue a career in the construction industry. This scholarship will be for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Scholarship recipient is required to become a student CSI member to both CSI national and the Akron-Canton chapter and must attend at least three Akron-Canton CSI meetings during the school year for which the scholarship is awarded. The scholarship payment check will be a two-party check made payable to both the recipient and to the school in which the recipient is enrolled. A thank you note to the scholarship committee will be required before the funds will be transferred.
Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2023.
