  • Spring 2019 Six Week CDT Study Course

The Vermont Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute is excited to announce a six week CDT Study Group for the Construction Documents Technology certification. As of July 1, 2018, the CDT program has transitioned from a certificate to a certification.

Starting Wednesday, March 6th, the CDT Study Group will meet each Wednesday through April 10th from 5:30 to 7:30, at TruexCullins Architecture, 209 Battery Street in Burlington.

CDTs consistently perform their jobs more effectively by understanding the roles and relationships of all participants throughout the project from concept to completion and into operations and management. CDTs improve communication among all members of the construction team by being able to understand and interpret written construction documents.

The CDT program is not just for young professionals or newbies within AEC. All roles and all levels of experience will benefit from CDT, including architects, owners, contractors, contract administrators, material suppliers, and manufacturers' representatives.

To read more about the CDT, please visit  http://csiresources.org/certification/cdt

Attendance fees do not include the Project Delivery Resource Guide, which is suggested reading, and available from the CSI here https://www.csiresources.org/practice/publications/guides/pdpg

We hope you have the opportunity to add the "CDT" credential after your name, which demonstrates you have a thorough understanding of how a project unfolds from conception to delivery with a firm grasp of the documentation involved.

Please contact lead instructor Cam Featherstonhaugh at 802.658.2775 or email Chapter President Eric Lussier at prez.csivermont@gmail.com should you have additional questions.

Attendance fees for the course are $60 for CSI members and $120 for non-members. Food and drinks will be provided.
