Transforming Tomorrow’s Specifiers Today! 🌟
Are you a specifier or employer of specifiers? If yes, then this is your calling to help shape the future of the CCS® (Certified Construction Specifier) certification! Put your work experience to good use and help CSI design a job task analysis – which looks at typical daily roles and responsibilities that are most important for a CCS holder. This research ensures that the CCS certification program is relevant to the workforce and supports careers in construction specifications.
Specifiers with or without an active CCS designation, especially those who plan to sit for the CCS exam in the future. Anyone who is actively working full-time and is involved in the day-to-day development and editing of construction specifications. For this work to be successful, we need input from professionals with a variety of years of experience, specialty areas, geographic dispersion, types of facilities/companies, and practice locations/settings. CSI members are preferred but membership is not required to participate.
Working Group Deliverables:
Deliverable #1: Contribute your professional expertise to the future of CSI credentialing.
Deliverable #2: Assist CSI with guided research by designing an important job task analysis.
