Call for Nominations – 2026 CSI Board of Directors Election


Nomination Window:
Wednesday, November 19, 2025 – Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at noon ET


The CSI Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Election! We invite dedicated CSI members to step forward and contribute their leadership and expertise to advance our mission and strengthen the organization. Available Positions

  • Chair-Elect
    Serves two years as Chair-Elect (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028) and two years as Chair (July 1, 2028 – June 30, 2030)

  • Secretary
    Two-year term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028

  • Treasurer
    Two-year term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028

  • Director-at-Large
    Three-year term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029

  • Regional Directors
    Three-year term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2029

    • Northeast Region

    • Northwest Region

    • South Central Region

Board Member Competencies

  • Financial Acumen (Treasurer-specific): Interprets and applies understanding of key financial indicators to make informed, effective business decisions.

    • Responses to the following questions in 300 words or less:
      • CSI values different perspectives and life experiences to better serve members and the AECO community and to be an innovative leading organization. Please describe a time when you or someone else felt uncomfortable in a group and how you built relationships in that situation.
      • Based on this understanding of the Board Governing Policies and the position description, please describe your understanding of the role of a member of the Board of Directors and the specific ways you might contribute or make an impact.
      • Please review the position description. Of the competencies listed in the position description, which would a colleague or friend indicate align with your greatest strengths and why?
      • Having read the Board Governing Policies, specifically the Ends/Priority results in Section 1, please describe some possibilities you imagine for the future of CSI if we were to be successful. In other words, what does success look like to you?
      • Is there anything you think speaks to your leadership that is not addressed in the previous questions that you believe the Nominating Committee should know? 
      • Recommended: Prepare your responses to the required questions in advance to move through the application with ease. The word limit for each response is 300.

    • Candidates Announcement: March 30-April 2, 2026 
    • Election Opens: April 7, 2026 
    • Election Closes: April 17, 2026, at noon ET 
    • Election Results Announcement: May 1, 2026
