We recently held our Winter Board Meeting, where our very own William Sunquest led an insightful discussion on the future of CSI. As we continue our mission to advance building information management and educate project teams to improve facility performance in innovative ways, we also took time to address key challenges facing the construction industry and developed strategic plans to overcome them.
In addition, we are making great strides in improving communication, including updates to the CSI website, ensuring that members have better access to valuable resources and information. Be on the lookout for updates coming soon.
Reflecting on the Past Year...
Our Region Conference, hosted by the Mississippi Chapter, was a tremendous success! With dynamic speakers and industry experts gathered in one location, attendees had the opportunity to share knowledge, network, and collaborate. It was especially wonderful to reconnect with old friends-seeing Tom and Mary Neil Clarke was a highlight! We also welcomed first-time attendees, strengthening our community with new connections. A heartfelt thank you to the Mississippi Chapter for your hospitality and hard work in making this event so impactful.
Looking Ahead...
We are excited for our upcoming Region Conference, hosted by the Chattanooga Chapter, taking place June 11-14. Information has been shared on the Region website, Community page, and via email. The schedule is packed with learning sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership development-key components that have always been a point of pride for our region. Investing in our volunteers, from chapter leadership to regional and institute levels, ensures a strong and thriving future for CSI.
As part of the conference, we will take time to recognize the hard work and dedication of our members. I encourage each chapter to submit for an award-this is a wonderful opportunity to show appreciation for the committed individuals who make this organization great. Let's celebrate their efforts and accomplishments together!
