Chapter Scholarships

CSI Chicago is proud to support and help develop the future leaders of our industry.  Each year the Chicago Chapter recognizes one or more students for their exceptional design efforts and awards winners a scholarship.  The student and their project are recognized at a chapter meeting, in the member newsletter, and on our chapter website.
Applicants for the scholarship are tasked with creating a text narrative of their design process, and how different factors influenced their material choices in regards to the building envelope. This encourages the students to dig deeper into issues of system design and how those decisions can impact aesthetics as well as building function.

If you are interested in being a scholarship supporter, contact us to learn more about donating to the CSI Chicago Foundation.

If you are local Chicago college or university and are interested in learning more about getting students at your school involved in CSI, contact us to discuss further.

National Scholarships

Moll/Betts Student Excellence Award is a national award given out each year to the two students who score the highest on the CDT for the year.  These awards carry large cash scholarships.
