time and talent on National Rebuilding Day

Saturday, April 28, 2018, 7:00am-5:00pm

We have been talking about this day all winter and it's finally here!  We are looking for volunteers to sign up to help out on our rehab day.

The retired couple has lived in this 3 bedroom, 1 bath home, where they raised their family, on Chicago’s west side for over 50 years. Their home is designated as “hard” by Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago (RTMC), so skilled and unskilled labor volunteers are needed.

Some of the tasks we will be taking on that day include: Painting, gardening, cleaning/moving, concrete, kitchen and bathroom rework, carpet/floor replacement.

We will be asking volunteers to bring whatever tools they can with then that day.  Material donations are also encouraged but need to be pre-arranged.
We hope to see you there!

Volunteer Signup for this event has closed but if you are looking to help out,
please contact Kathy St. Joseph ( to inquire about open volunteer spots.
