Building Knowledge – Improving Project Delivery

The Chicago Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) was formed in 1953.  We are proud to be one of CSI’s largest 130+ local chapters and a 12-time winner of the “Outstanding Chapter Commendation” Award.

Since 1953, our Chapter Members have been committed to improving contract document communication throughout the project delivery process and maximizing facility performance.  Our active and diverse membership of construction industry professionals include architects, specifiers, engineers, manufacturer representatives, engineers, contractors, owners, government official’s students and more.

CSI Chicago members collaborate to effectively communicate the designer’s vision, the material producers’ solutions, and the constructors’ techniques to create outstanding facilities that meet facility owners’ objectives.  Through educational events and networking, members exchange information for successful project management.
