  1. Please share some information about the history of National Gypsum and your role in the Architect/Engineer/Construction/Owner community.


National Gypsum Company is headquartered in Charlotte, NC and is the exclusive service provider of reliable, high-performance building products manufactured by our affiliate companies and marketed under the Gold Bond®, ProForm® and PermaBASE® brands. The National Gypsum® name – through our Gold Bond, ProForm and PermaBASE product lines – has been synonymous with high-quality, innovative products and exceptional customer service since 1925.


The strategic network of Gold Bond, ProForm and PermaBASE manufacturing facilities located throughout major metropolitan hubs in North America allows us to provide the best in customer service to keep fast-moving projects moving forward.
At National Gypsum Company, I lead our technical marketing team. We collaborate daily with architects and specifiers across the country. Our goal is to partner with project influencers and provide the resources they need to confidently select and specify our high-performance products.
Most importantly, we want to partner with our customers for success – whether by assisting with product specification and selection or by providing resources, solutions, product availability or technical assistance.
  1. What are your goals in sponsoring the Career Center?


We want to support professionals through educational resources that help them expand their knowledge and allow them to advance in a fulfilling career.
At National Gypsum Company, we often say that our associates “come for a job and stay for a career.” We hope we can provide the resources and support for the architect and specifier community to help them find that type of rewarding career opportunity.


  1. What kind of positive impact do you think the Career Center can have for professionals in our field, especially in the New Year?


The Career Center can support professionals who are looking to find a work “home,” a place where their contributions are needed, acknowledged and rewarded. It can also serve as a central hub for those looking to expand their knowledgebase to continue to grow in their current position.
