The End Goal: The Point of Specifications

Two experts share secrets of effective specifications, spec-drawing coordination, and specifiers!
Class Description:
The first in this season’s five-part Specifications 101 Series, Class 1 “The End Goal: The Point of Specifications” will show us the goals of specifications and why they're so important to our industry.

This series will kick off with Beth Stroshane, Managing Partner of Applied Building Information, who has spent the last couple decades “knees deep” in specifications. She will teach you what it really means when people mention “well-coordinated specifications” and will discuss the traits that make an effective specifier.

Our second speaker, Heather Skeehan, Head of Strategic Design Implementation at citizenM hotels, will introduce drawings and the specifications-drawings connection, pulling from her career experience working as an Architect, General Contractor and Owner/Developer. She will share her experience from all sides of specifications and where she commonly sees issues.
Don’t miss these two excellent speakers as they share their expertise with the PSC CSI!
Many thanks to our Specifications 101: Class 1 sponsor Applied Building Information!
