My mission is to be the Architect that exceeds client expectations, contributes to the advancement of our noble profession and be the husband and father my family needs.
I began work in the field of architecture in high school as a construction laborer. The summer before college, I began working for an engineering firm with architects and continued on all school breaks through after graduation to be with them 10 years. I then went on to be a Project Architect and Project Manager at InterDesign in addition to managing all IT and in-house education. I am now in the third chapter of my professional career as a Senior Tenant Coordinator for Simon Property Group. Building on the skills I gained assisting my clients for InterDesign, I now get to help tenants at Simon properties.
I find the most joy in working through project conception and evaluating the needs and strategic solutions as a team member to identify and solve the current challenge. I love managing the process from identifying the problem or shortfall through realizing the solution and ultimately evaluating how well it improved the operation, enhanced the environment, or solved the problem.
My most notable projects include managing the development (from assisting with site selection through design/construction/opening) of over 16 licensed Starbucks stores all over the country, Allen Medical Facility Relocation (completed in 2014), Traders Point Christian Church Children's Education Addition (completed in 2013), The Hill-Rom Center in Batesville, IN (completed in 2012), Hendricks County Fairgrounds (completed in 2005), Indianapolis International Airport Security Renovations (completed in 2003).
