Member Types

  • Professional: You have three or more years of experience in any construction-related field. (Annual national dues: $275)
  • Emerging Professional: You have fewer than three years experience in any construction-related field. (Annual national dues: $150)
  • Student: You are a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a construction industry curriculum at an educational institution. (Annual national dues: $50)
  • Retired: You must be at least 65 years old and a member of CSI for at least five consecutive years. You must also be endorsed by your current chapter president or Institute Secretary. (Annual national dues: $50)
  • Emeritus: You must be at least 70 years old and a member of CSI for at least 15 years. You must also be endorsed by your current chapter president or Institute Secretary. (Annual national dues: $0)

Joining CSI

Membership in the CSI national organization is a prerequisite for Chapter membership (although you can sign up for both at the same time). Your annual dues are the total of your national dues and your chapter dues.
