We tried a fun new thing and threw ourselves a just-plain party in June for the end of the Chapter's year. That means July 10 is our streamlined Awards Night and Installation of Officers, in addition to our panel discussion "Grill the Specifier". Raise a glass with us to welcome President Derek Payne to the helm and to congratulate those who've helped keep the Chapter fresh and lively. Hope to see you there! (Watch this space for awards announcements!)

I'm so excited about this year's Pro-Fair speakers! We're thrilled to welcome Allison Brooks, Executive Director of Bay Area Regional Collaborative (BARC) , and Marcel Wilson, Founding Principal and Design Director for Bionic Landscapes. Pro-Fair 2018 was, by all accounts, quite a success! Attendance reached 234; the highest in several years. The setup went smoothly (that being a relative measure), exhibitors were ready as guests arrived, the "buzz" was constant, food was outstanding, service excellent, and our distinguished panel and moderator held the audience's attention to the end. Our thanks to those whose time, creativity and effort made it all possible; Taryn Fischer, Earl Carter, Katia Griggs, Vivian Volz and Pete Janda! Your Board and Committees are always receptive to Member input. You don't have to wait for a survey to share an idea or opinion. Your greatest impact comes from ...
