Spring 2026 CDT® Study Class
February 5 – April 30, 2026 | Live Online | Wednesdays 5:30–7:30 PM (PT)
If you’re looking to build confidence with construction documents, improve your communication across A/E/C teams, or prepare for CSI’s CDT® exam, our Spring 2026 CDT® Study Class is now open for registration.
This 12-week course gives emerging and experienced professionals a grounded, practical understanding of how projects move from concept to closeout—and how contract documents shape that journey.
We kick off February 5 and meet weekly through April 30, with a short break the week of March 24 for spring break.
What This Class Offers
Construction projects are complex. Roles overlap, documents evolve, and responsibilities shift as a project moves through its life cycle. The CDT® helps you make sense of all of it—and this class walks you through the exam’s eight knowledge domains using real project examples and plain language.
Across 12 weeks, we’ll explore:
-
Fundamentals of project delivery and communication
-
Programming, planning, and delivery methods
-
The design process and how decisions are documented
-
Drawings, specifications, and industry formats
-
Procurement and pricing
-
Preconstruction roles and activities
-
Construction administration: submittals, QA/QC, interpretations, closeout
-
Life cycle activities, from O&M to facility evaluations
Whether you’re early in your career or looking to reinforce your understanding, this course gives you a framework you can use immediately.
