WORDS FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello fellow CSI members. I wish you all well as we kick off the holiday season.
It’s been quite some time since we’ve sent out a Documentor, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been hard at work in the background. We have welcomed a new board, hosted a successful first annual golf tournament, and have some exciting events and changes coming to the Willamette Valley Chapter’s digital presence in the next few months.
NEW WEBSITE
I’m happy to announce our new website, coming soon, which will be more streamlined and easier to navigate. This new ‘microsite’ has a more intuitive user interface that we’re hoping will make it easier for people to access the information they seek and for our community to stay connected digitally.
DOCUMENTOR FORMAT
Along with this website upgrade, the Documentor is changing platforms to integrate with the website. Don’t worry, you will still receive an email when the Documentor is released, but now it will contain a link to the latest Documentor on the website rather than being incorporated into the email.
EVENTS
Moving from the digital into the physical world, we have some exciting events coming up in the next few months. In early December, we have a Holiday Happy Hour for the CSI community to gather, welcome new members, meet the board, and reconnect. Come join us for some frivolity and fun, including an ugly sweater contest, door prizes, and a free drink and appetizers! Look for announcements on our Economic Forecast, occurring in January. With the tumultuous economic landscape of the past couple of years, this should be a particularly intriguing event as we look to the future.
