WORDS FROM THE PRESIDENT
How can your CSI chapter better serve you?
Over the past year, we’ve had well attended events and not well attended events. It’s difficult to ascertain what will draw people’s interest and fit in their busy lives, especially when we don’t meet in person as much as we used to. President-elect Sydney Mills and I recently attended the CSI region conference to connect with other chapter leaders and get ideas. We left re-energized to make the Willamette Valley Chapter into a thriving community striving to meet the needs of our current and future members.
We’re working to provide programming that fits your interests and availability and are looking for any and all feedback you can provide. Are you looking for a specific kind of educational event? Are you drawn to events that foster social connection? Do certain times of day fit better into your schedule? We have a variety of events planned for the next 6 months that will occur at different times of the day and have varying ratios of education to socialization. Our next event is a luncheon learn worth one AIA credit on a self-healing coating on May 23rd at the Eugene Builders Exchange. We hope you can join us at our second annual golf tournament on July 21st, and some pizza and beer on June 15th, we are also planning a brunch chapter meeting once the kids are back to school in September!
If you have a second to share your thoughts or preferences, please email email@example.com.
I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
Kayla Bundy, CSI Willamette Valley Chapter President
