Description:

  • Are you tired of seeing the same faces at every chapter meeting?

  • Would you like to see your membership grow?

  • Do you wish you had members eagerly show up for your meetings?
If you want to boost attendance at your chapter meetings and events – this new opportunity is for you.

Cynthia D’Amour, who specializes in getting more members involved in associations, is facilitating a virtual training program for CSI chapters committed to growing their attendance at events.

The Dynamic Chapter Program consists of three parts

1.You learn how to transform meetings into experiences members love to attend.
Cynthia teaches you how to:

  • Give members more value every time they show up

  • Design irresistible experiences using a simple template.

  • Promote meetings to capture attention and boost attendance.

2. You design meeting experiences and promotions using what you learned from Cynthia.

It’s time to apply what you learned. You design a set of four meeting experiences and promotions for your chapter.

(If you have additional people from your chapter in the program, you will work as a team to complete the design work.)

Cynthia will hold virtual group coaching calls in case you need help. You present your challenge. Cynthia and other participants will offer ideas to help you.

(Can’t make a group session? While attending live is the best way to learn, all group coaching sessions will be recorded so they can work with your schedule.)

3. You participate in the Dynamic Chapters Implementation Challenge.

This program is more than just learning how to grow attendance at your events. You’ll be actually doing it!

Over the next six months (March – September 2019), your chapter will hold at least the four meeting experiences you designed earlier.

After each experience, you (and your teammates if you have them) discuss what worked for the meeting – and what you can do differently next time.

You’ll also join Cynthia for group coaching sessions during this phase to help you fine tune your upcoming meetings and promotions.

In October 2019, your hard work and new insights will be recognized.

We’ll celebrate your successes - and all the exciting transformation that happened in your chapter.

By the end of this program, if you implement what you learn, you should see a significant difference in your chapter meeting attendance – which makes it easier to recruit volunteers too!

Who can participate?

This program is open to any members who help design programs for their chapters. As part of this program, you are required to actually implement the meetings you plan using what you learn.

If you already have programs planned, you can still participate. What you learn will help you transform the meetings into even more exciting experiences members can’t wait to attend.

If you have a programming team, encourage all your members to participate. This kind of work is much more fun when you have others to do it with.

If you are the programming chair without a team, this program could be a great time to invite others to join you as part of your creative team. You may be surprised who offers to help you.

If it’s just you, that’s okay. Between Cynthia, the group coaching sessions and the community we’ve got your back.

NOTE: If other members of your chapter are currently participating in the first round of the DCP, you are still welcome to sign up for THIS session of the DCP.

How long will this take?

The kick-off session will be Wednesday, January 16th at 3pm EST.

You’ll work on training and design through February 2019. The Implementation Challenge takes place March – September 2019. Winners and recognition happen in October 2019. Everything is virtual.
