MasterFormat is a standardized arrangement of work results provided to enhance the speed and quality of communication by professionals participating in a construction project team. Professionals with experience working on large scale commercial construction projects, experience with the contents and use of MasterFormat, experience writing specifications, and holders of the CCS certification will be given preference. In addition to working on proposals currently in the queue, this committee will be interacting with other standards task teams to harmonize MasterFormat with other CSI standards under development.
