Subject matter experts who hold CCCATM, CCSTM, CCPRTM or CDT®, are needed for certification exam item writing. Each year, a selected group of AEC professionals are trained by pscyhometricians to confidentially update, improve, enhance and align the certification exam items (questions) to the body of knowledge and source material.
Volunteers will:
- Participate in 1 training
- Utilizing professional source and reference materials, co-author new items for CSI exams
- Maintain confidentiality in all work, tasks and outcomes developed with and for CSI
- Assess current exam items (questions) for updating, revision and relevance
- Earn up to 2 Learning Units per year for volunteering!
Who Should Apply:
- CSI credential holders who passed the exam between 2010-2020
- Certificants who do not intend to teach exam prep courses or author/review CSI publications between now and Spring 2024
- Certificants who are not serving on other CSI volunteer committees/boards
- Certificants who are not currently a candidate in an active exam cycle
Time Commitment:
- 30 hours between November 17, 2020 – January 31, 2021

Qualifications and Requirements:
- CSI member preferred.
- Must actively hold a CSI certification by passing the exam(s) during or after 2010.
- If selected for this volunteer role, you will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and will not be eligible to teach/train for exam prep, nor contribute to source materials authorship, for three years following completion of this project.
