    The Connected Jobsite: Applying Innovative Digital Twin Solutions to Fight Variance and Waste Join us in-office this month at McCarthy Construction Headquarters! We'll hear from Alex Belkofer, Senior Director, Virtual Design & Construction, on how McCarthy is currently using the latest technologies to control quality and boost efficiency. • We'll explore what McCarthy calls their “connected jobsite”, emphasizing how BIM, VDC and Digital Twin approaches and technologies are being utilized to combat variance and waste in construction projects. Discover how leveraging virtual building practices throughout the project lifecycle allows for real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and enhanced decision-making, thereby reducing inefficiencies and improving project outcomes. We'll see practical examples of how BIM and Digital Twin applications within McCarthy's overall VDC process streamline workflows, facilitate better communication among stakeholders, and drive sustainability by minimizing waste. It's your chance to be the jury as architecture students present projects from their "Professional Practice" class at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. Your reviews will determine the top three projects that will receive cash awards from our chapter's “CSI Student Development Grant.” Doors open at 5:00 for socializing, food and drink; the meeting starts at 5:30.
