Good afternoon CSI Southeast Region Members,
As my term as President ends, I express my gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to serve in this role for the past three and a half years. Working alongside such a dedicated and passionate group of individuals has been an honor, and I am proud of all we have accomplished together.
When I first took on the role of President, I knew there would be challenges ahead with COVID-19, but I was also excited about the future. Over the past three and a half years, we have faced various obstacles with the pandemic, supply chain issues and overcome them with hard work, creativity, and a commitment to our shared goals of supporting the local chapters. From launching new initiatives such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee along with supporting Women in the Building Environment or supporting Chapters who needed to merge chapters and update their finances to expanding our membership base, we have made significant progress in advancing the mission of CSI Southeast Region Association and the National CSI Association.
As I reflect on my time as President, several moments are significant. I will never forget the excitement and energy of our Region conferences, where we brought experts from across the field to share their knowledge and insights. I am also proud of our work to expand our outreach efforts from many of our CSI Regional Chapters, connecting with new communities and organizations to raise awareness about our mission and impact.
Throughout my term, I have been consistently impressed by the dedication and commitment of our members. Whether volunteering at events, serving on committees, or simply showing up to support our initiatives, you have demonstrated time and again your passion for our mission. I am confident that this spirit of collaboration and commitment will continue to drive our association forward in the years ahead.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone. It has been an honor to serve in this role, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such an incredible group of individuals. I look forward to seeing all that we will accomplish together.
