Puget Sound Chapter Event: Geocashing & New Member Social

When:  Sep 5, 2019 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM (PT)
Associated with  Puget Sound

Join us for the Puget Sound Chapter's first event of the 2019 term as we embark on an hour-long geocache adventure through Seattle’s waterfront as you follow clues that will test your industry knowledge at each checkpoint.

This event is an opportunity to catchup from the summer break including incoming 2019 Board Members, committee volunteer opportunities and upcoming events!

There will be a maximum of 3 teams with registration capped at 30 participants so register now!

If you are not familiar with geocaching, it is a real-world outdoor treasure hunting game using an app. Clues will be provided to find the next geocache treasure and once checked-in, another clue will appear to go to the next location.

For those who do not want to participate in the geocaching activity, the social will begin at 5pm at Ivar’s Acres of Clams with heavy appetizers and a no-host bar (one complimentary drink ticket will be included for either beer or wine).

The geocache activity is an outdoors so please dress accordingly, make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, and have plenty of sunscreen!

Date: September 5, 2019

Location: Ivar’s Acres of Clams at 1001 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98104.
