Bio

Communities thrive when they combine their commitment to public service with data-driven initiatives designed to strengthen infrastructure integrity and safety. As a leader and change agent in the building sciences industry, I understand the holistic value of establishing firm foundations and data-backed policy to advance the public good.

Throughout my career, I’ve leveraged my technical expertise in architecture and construction to transform industries and organizations by creating actionable strategic plans that deliver comprehensive solutions in ever-evolving markets. I thrive in environments that require discerning and results-focused policy development and standards of best practice, and my efforts have been recognized by industry-leading associations, including the American Institute of Architects and the National Institute of Building Sciences, as well as the Governor of the State of Ohio. Below is a selection of the top accomplishments from my career:

• Streamlining statewide public construction projects for the state of Ohio by drafting and securing consensus for new legislation that reformed a 134-year-old legacy construction law.

• Drafting and finalizing agreement language recognized as the gold standard as a key member of AIA’s Contract Documents Committee.

• Leading the implementation of the Construction Specifications Institute’s Policy Governance framework, which optimized broad processes and outcomes by refocusing on results-driven action.

I am excited to expand my professional network and see what the future holds.
