Mr. Steven Simpson is a Specification Consultant and Specification Manager with Allegion for the Texas and Chicago markets.
Mr. Simpson has been in the Door and Hardware industry for over 15 years. Steven attended Maryland University with a BS in Business Management and his MBA from Kingston University, UK.
Mr. Simpson served in the Air Force from 1980 to 1992 and is currently serving the California Air National Guard as an Avionics Technician working on the F-15 Fighter Jet.
Mr. Simpson is a member of CSI and the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI) and is working toward achieving the AHC certification accreditation. Mr. Simpson is also a certified Fire Door and Assembly Inspector (FDAI) and has earned his CCPR and CDT.
Mr. Simpson has been involved with the Los Angeles CSI Chapter and worked with the CSI Puget Sound Chapter helping and mentoring Young Professionals and supported the Southwest Chapter at their regional conference in 2017. Mr. Simpson has recently led his first CDT Bootcamp within the Allegion team where the Allegion team achieved four new CDT members.
As a side note, Mr. Simpson lived in The Netherlands for 23 years and in addition to English, speaks Dutch and Portuguese.
