I am a professional Architect with 40+ years experience working on commercial, health care, data centers, industrial and governmental projects. My private sector experience has giving me the opportunity to prepare project documents for the GSA, U.S. Postal Service, judicial, health care and food service industries. I have served as the Project Manager for the Project Management Division, responsible for construction cost estimating; seismic and progressive collapse analyses; historic preservation, fine arts, site acquisition, performance measures, development and management of major capital projects from Child Care Centers, Federal Courthouses and office buildings to Land Ports of Entry (Border Stations) and historical building renovations.
I am a architect in the State of California since 1983. Prior to working for GSA, I have over twelve years of private sector experience in construction management, real estate and financial management, including design and construction administration work with award winning architectural firms.
Construction Management, Construction Cost Estimating and Specifications. I held a Project Manager Senior/Expert and Contracting Officer Representative Certification (Level II) from the Federal Acquisition Institute and have my HSPD-12 security clearance. One of my specialties is providing conceptual cost estimates for benchmark “ball-park” costs without much design documents. My technical expertise has provided value engineering and construction savings to many of my past projects.
