John Sellen is an independent vertical transportation consultant with 37 years of continuous service in the elevator industry. Since 2000 he has provided vertical transportation consulting to building managers, owners, architects, and developers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, California, and the West Coast. His career started in 1981 with Dover Elevator Co. in Detroit, MI. In 2000 he joined Hesselberg, Keesee & Associates of San Francisco as an elevator consultant. In 2006 John joined Lerch Bates & Associates as Manager of their Northern California office. In August 2013, he launched JE Sellen Consulting.
John has been an active member of CSI since 2010. He has served on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Chapter including two years as Chapter President. He is currently the West Region Director for the SF Chapter.
