Chad Rempe

Chad Rempe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a LEED BD+C accredited professional. Chad began his construction career as a laborer in 1990 and has worked as a mason tender, mason, and cement finisher prior to beginning his career in Project Management in 1996. As a Project Manager he has successfully managed over 40 projects across 9 states totaling $800 Million. The most recent of which being the Kraus-Anderson Block Development, which is a $150 Million 750,000 GSF mixed use development that included below grade parking, corporate office, co-working office, apartments, a brewery, and a hotel completed in August of 2018. In addition, Chad is an active volunteer with the House of Charity in Minneapolis where he currently serves on their Board of Directors.
Ryan Klick

Ryan Klick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Concstruction Management from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Ryan began his construction career in 2010 in project management. Ryan has successfully managed 9 projects over 4 states totaling over $300 million. The most recent being the Kraus Anderson Headquarters office and Finnegans House brewery projects. He has a passion for innovation in construction management techniques and high performance buildings.

Michael Spence, AIA, FCSI has served as KA’s director of quality since 2008. Spence oversees an integrated process for quality at all levels, including technical and quality-related training and professional development programs.
Spence is a 40-year industry veteran in the design and construction industry where he focused on large complex projects. He specifically works with architects and engineers to ensure the design intent is effectively implemented by the construction teams. Over the years, he has worked on hundreds of noteworthy projects in healthcare, housing, education, entertainment, hospitality, retail and commercial sectors.
Prior to joining Kraus-Anderson, Spence was an architectural director and senior project manager for Ellerbe Becket, Inc. in Minneapolis, focusing on large, complex healthcare projects in the U.S. and internationally. He also served as corporate director of specifications.
“Mike brings knowledge and leadership to our quality initiatives to maximize value to our clients,” said Al Gerhardt, Kraus-Anderson’s COO. “We look forward to his continued contributions to our core purpose of building enduring relationships and strong communities.”
Spence received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota’s School of Architecture. He is a registered architect, a fellow in the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) and certified construction specifier (CCS). He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects. Spence has received local, regional and national honors for excellence in specification, and is recognized by his peers as a thought leader in building enclosures and material applications.
