Event Description:
Everyone knows that building plans must be submitted to local authorities for approval. But what REALLY matters to those who
actually do the review? Get an insider's look at what it takes to provide the proper content. This is a MUST attend event for design and construction professionals, especially those who are tasked with doing the initial code analysis. C. Scott Anderson, Architect and Plan Reviewer for the City of Minneapolis, will explain what happens during a code review and how it is used by Authorities Having Jurisdiction AHJ's to determine compliance.

Learning Objectives:
#1: Locate and define the key code related elements of abuilding within the code book
#2:  Determine key information for AHJ plan review and design team members
#3:  Develop a code analysis document that can bepresented to the AHJ as a summary of the building’s code compliance path.
#4:  Create a Life Safety Plan incorporating the main elements of the Building Code Analysis and added to the Construction Documents
