Thad Goodman, President
This month in CSI land there are two major things going.
Both have a direct affect on You, our Region and CSI nationally. Please take the time to vote for the LEADERSHIP of the Region for next year.
Deadline is Friday, March 1, 12:00PM Also if you want to serve at a HIGHER LEVEL,
NOW is the time to throw your name in the hat.
If you are not sure what you will get out of involvement, please read Ann Baker’s post below.
Even if you don’t have any desire to get involved, read Ann’s post… It’s just a powerful message.
Membership:
FRIDAY- CSI Election Deadline Only two more days to participate in the CSI's election! CSI members can help shape the future of their association by voting this week. Eligible members will have until noon ET FRIDAY to
cast their ballots. Voting is entirely online. Members who are having trouble voting should contact
election@csinet.org. For full details on CSI’s 2013 election, visit
www.csinet.org/election.
Volunteers Needed! In Ann Baker’s, CSI, CCS, CCCA,
blog post on volunteering she wrote: “Think about how you want to be involved in CSI. Moving beyond the chapter or even the region can give you new perspective on how we make our construction industry better. And, what you will learn by participating on an Institute committee or task team benefits you, just as you can use it to benefit the grass-roots of the organization back at your local chapter. You can make a difference.” You can volunteer for the committees and task teams that are now recruiting by visiting
www.csinet.org/volunteers. Volunteers are key to the success of CSI on every level – and volunteers benefit from their participation with an increased network, more recognition, and all the other bonuses leadership in CSI has already delivered for you. CSI will accept applications through
March 15.
Thank you for your membership and your interest in CSI,
