In 1954, Robert founded Robert P. Madison International Inc. (RPMI), in Cleveland after serving in WWI as a Buffalo Soldier where he received a Purple Heart. Being the first African American Architect to be registered in the state of Ohio is just one example of many barriers that Robert broke through his 97 years. RPMI has designed over 300 buildings and is currently the largest African American female owned architecture firm in the State of Ohio.
This program will be held virtually through Zoom, and is hosted by the Rotary Club of Cleveland.
