Increase Building Safety & Security Without Sacrificing Usability

This course covers how to best create a secure and safe facility with access control solutions that go beyond the options that are most commonly known and applied. Learn the key benefits of an efficient and flexible system and how a more efficient system can operate from a design and technological point of view

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify unique access points that can be included in a facility's access plan thereby extending safety and security to more areas of a facility.
  • Understand how a facility's access control can combine mobile, wireless and wire-free offline technology in the same system to maximize security and flexibility, while creating a more usable building for both facility operators and users.
  • Understand how an access control system can easily differentiate access rights by type of user and his/her specific security and usage profile so that all building users feel appropriately safe yet unencumbered.
  • Select an access control system that is cost effective to install and maintain, meeting both security and budget objectives today and in future.

Sponsor: SALTO

From its inception in 2001, SALTO was created with one objective: to devise a world-class access control system that was simple to use and extremely efficient, giving users the ability to control all their access needs and secure all their doors without complex and expensive wiring. Such a solution had to be simple to install and set up, cost-effective, reliable, complete and future-proof. What resulted was our pioneering SVN platform and the first stand-alone, battery-powered electronic locks for access control.

Since that groundbreaking start, the small group of enthusiastic and highly experienced professionals who founded SALTO have gone on to introduce a series of other innovations that have had a major impact on electronic security. SALTO hardware and software can be networked without wires to provide real-time intelligence and instant control, while enabling integration with existing systems to improve manageability and enhance user experience. Having revolutionized access control around the world in sectors where security is critical SALTO continues to deliver the most advanced and flexible electronic locking solutions on the market.
