Speaker: Tim Gallegos, CSI, CDT
Tim is with GAF StreetBond Division for the Southern States, works with the design community to beautify the area and make it a much cooler place, literally. Tim believes that it is everyone’s job to make this world a better place, no matter how small or large the contribution. Tim has been educating the country on how to bring down the temperature of cities through reflective coatings on the roof and on the pavement. Projects include the City of Los Angeles School District; Houston, Texas downtown; City of Austin Streetscape and many others. As an active CSI member, Tim has been a member of many committees; President of his local chapter, Region Conference Chairman, and he’s earned his CDT designation. Tim holds a Master’s Degree from Colorado State University.

Joining Tim from GAF are Corey Hanney, CSI, CDT, GAF as the Territory Manager and Charles Monteiro, CSI, Technical Service Representative for GAF Liquid Applied Coatings.

Sponsor: GAF
Founded in 1886, GAF has become North America’s largest manufacturer of commercial and residential roofing. Our success in growing the company to nearly $3 billion in sales has been a result of our relentless pursuit of quality, combined with industry-leading expertise and comprehensive roofing solutions.

StreetBond, by GAF, is the go-to product when you want to reproduce the look and feel of brick, slate, stone or other design elements on an asphalt base. The StreetBond coating system also provides the added benefit of strengthening the asphalt base and lengthening the life of the asphalt beyond its normal range.

Whether you’re installing StreetBond in a retail mall or a new construction environment, this product is a low-cost decorative asphalt texturing system with unlimited colors and customization capabilities. It has been designed for light-to-moderate vehicular traffic and pedestrian areas.

What can StreetBond Coatings do?

Change the look & feel of a community with a coat of color

Keep cyclists safe by visually alerting drivers to the presence of a cycle lane

Enhance the open area or entrance of a campus, civic center, or park
