Project delivery method selection significantly influences project outcomes, including cost, schedule, quality, risk allocation, and team collaboration. This interactive program examines the characteristics of Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Design-Build (DB) delivery methods through a series of realistic project scenarios. Participants will be assigned to a project delivery method team and challenged to analyze project situations involving scope changes, unforeseen conditions, design issues, schedule disruptions, and stakeholder conflicts. Working within the framework of their assigned delivery method, teams will identify responsibility for decision-making, cost impacts, schedule risks, and problem resolution while defending their conclusions through guided discussion. Through comparative analysis and facilitated debate, participants will develop a deeper understanding of how contractual structure influences project risk, accountability, collaboration, and overall project performance.
