This course focuses on the use of silicone in fluid-applied air and water barrier systems. The student will be presented topics that cover why use and consider silicone materials for air and water barriers; the benefits of using silicone compared to other material types; how silicone systems should be installed; provide comparisons to other material systems; and use case studies to talk the student through why a silicone system was used in lieu of other material types.
