Brought to you by the CSINext Chapter, this free program will give an overview of the code development process from code proposal to final acceptance. It will then look at 10 proposals significant for low-slope roofing that were accepted for inclusion in the 2021 International Building Code used for commercial buildings. For each of the proposals we will examine who made the proposal, the reason for the change or addition, and discuss what impact it may have for owners, specifiers and contractors.
