National Gypsum’s Technical Marketing Team will host Gypsum Tools You Can Use. The Gypsum Association has updated several documents over the past 15 months, and specific highlights of each new addition will be the focus of this presentation. Gypsum’s primary attributes include fire and sound protection in a cost effective decorative substrate. Join to get the most recent updates on how to take advantage of updated uses in this product category.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will receive an overview of the most recent Gypsum Association Documents and how changes can aid communication for projects.
  2. Presentation will review the way gypsum is fire tested with a sampling of Industry Best Practices for fire wall integration.
  3. Presentation will determine the appropriate use of high performance fire rated separation system at shaft enclosures.
  4. Participants will receive an overview of Sound Ratings and ways to control sound transmission class in gypsum assemblies.
