    After spending 14 years of his career in the office of Dick Clark Architecture designing small and midsize commercial projects, multi-family, custom residential, affordable housing, restaurants, and retail space, in the early 2010s Scott Ginder became the founding principal of Forge Craft Architecture + Design.  With affordable housing being at the forefront of Austin livability and development issues these days, Scott presented an overview of several recently completed and on-the-boards affordable housing projects.  Attendees saw what affordable housing looks like these days and learn about some innovative solutions to enhancing the living environments of this building type.

    Scott also presented an overview of what's possible with modular construction, which his firm relies on frequently for many of their projects.  Coincidentally, AIA has recently published a guide on modular construction...
