Rebuilding Together

We've Sponsored A 2024 Home!

CSI Chicago is committed to building a better future by partnering with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago to provide a Chicago family in need with a home that is safe, warm and dry.

We’ve sponsored Ms. T’s home in the Englewood neighborhood through Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago.  This is the sixth straight year we have sponsored a home and we will be participating in National Rebuilding Day on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Although we adopted the house, our real commitment is to improve the lives of Ms. T’s family by taking away the stresses that their home brings to their lives.

81-year-old Ms. T moved to Chicago from Mississippi in December 1965. She remembers that first winter being difficult, noting that “we didn’t wear boots in Mississippi!” She met her late husband shortly thereafter and raised her two kids in the house that she still calls home. Ms.T loves to cook and strike up a conversation, and you’ll love working with her.

There are three ways to participate and support our 2024 Rebuilding Together community engagement effort – donate your time, donate money or donate materials.

Donate Your Time - Volunteer (Volunteer sign up will open soon)

We are limited to only 15 onsite volunteers.  If you are a CSI Chicago member and are interested in volunteering onsite please contact our Community Engagement Committee contact listed below.

Donate To The CSI Chicago Foundation*
