Building Codes & Common Door & Hardware Errors
This roundtable will provide an overview of common errors made during the design phase. From there, we will become familiar with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 80 Fire Doors and Other Opening Hardware and ANSI 117.1 ADA, Accessible & Usable Buildings & Facilities. Presented by:

About Our Presenter:
Jana began her career in 1980 as a Project Administrator/Manager for a general contractor. She joined the door & hardware industry in 1985 by working for a contract hardware distributor. Essex/ASSA ABLOY recognized her talents and hired Jana as their Business Unit Manager for the Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso territories. After many years with ASSA ABLOY, Jana joined the Hager team in September 2006 as the Western Regional Sales Manager. Jana was a National Instructor for the Door & Hardware Institute (DHI) for 10 years and is currently an instructor for the US Army Corps of Engineers. With her training and people skills Jana was promoted once again to her current position of Product & Sales Training Manager. Jana travels the United States training not only Hager employees at the corporate office in St Louis, as well as the manufacturing plant in Alabama, but also our distributors, architects and end users.
